Classic Movie Night at the South Branch of the Peabody Library

Enjoy a classic movie on our big screen at the South Branch!

Beat the heat and cool off at the South Branch spending some time enjoying a classic movie. Enjoy a free screening of a classic movie in our air-conditioned community room. This is a great opportunity for families or friends to gather and enjoy a fun musical comedy or simply enjoy a movie you haven’t seen (or maybe even thought about!) for a long time. This showing will feature a 1957 classic musical in which well-known Hollywood stars sing their way from a New York City bookstore to the Parisian fashion world.

This program is free and open to the public and will take place at the South Branch of the Peabody Institute Library, located at 78 Lynn St. on Thursday, August 18th at 6:30PM. This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Peabody Institute Library. Registration is requested, but not required. Feel free to stop by to enjoy the movie. For more information or to reserve your free spot, please go to www.peabodylibrary.org, call 978-531-3380 or stop by in person.
