Coffee Cupping at the South Branch of the Peabody Library

Learn to get the most out of your cup of Joe at the South Branch with Rob Fitzgibbon

Got Coffee? Are you looking to get a little more out of your regular cup of Joe? Coffee has depths of flavor and a surprising range of tastes, sort of like wine. Join us at the South Branch as we welcome coffee enthusiast Rob Fitzgibbon, who will guide participants through tastings of a few different types of coffee in a low-key, interactive tasting. HE’ll teach attendees about mouthfeel, aroma and taste using a flavor wheel and other teaching aids, while everyone sips coffee to discover the different tastes within the brews

Mr. Fitzgibbon is passionate about helping people gain more appreciation for the complexity and wonder of a drink that we typically take for granted in our daily life, making this a perfect program for coffee lovers of all kinds who’d like to get more out of a cup of coffee than just a caffeine jolt.

The program is free and open to the public, but space is limited and registration is required. This program will take place at the South Branch of the Peabody Institute Library, located at 78 Lynn St. on Saturday, May 6 at 10AM. For more information and to register for this program, please go to www.peabodylibrary.org, call 978-531-3380 or stop by in person.
