Crusaders’ Offense Stalls, Ends Postseason Play
Bishop Fenwick was eliminated from tournament play Wednesday by an opportunistic Newburyport team, which took advantage of Fenwick fielding miscues.
The Crusaders were knocked from tournament play on Wednesday at Lynn’s Fraser Field, defeated by Newburyport, 3-0.
The Clippers capitalized on a number of fielding miscues by Bishop Fenwick to head into the North Division III Final versus the winner of today’s showdown between Saugus and St. Mary’s of Lynn.
The Fenwick baseball team finishes the season at 22-7, after and before facing Newburyport.
