'Dueling Duets' to be Performed at Peabody High
Local politicians and We Are America, Inc., cast members will engage in singing competition.
For the fifth year in a row, We Are Ameica, Inc., will stage the "Dueling Duets" singing competition at which gives some city elected officials a chance to strut their stuff and bring the house down.
The even will be held on March 26 at 7 p.m. and some of the local politicians and civic leaders who will participate include: Tom Gould, owner of Treadwell's Ice Cream who recently announced he is running for Councilor-at-large, Mary Bellavance of the mayor's office, and School Committee members Tom Rossignoll and Ed Charest.
Tom Paras, a commissioner at the , wrote in an e-mail these and other local politicians and community members will be paired up with a We Are America, Inc., performer. They will then take turns performing in a good natured singing competition.
