Emergency Parking Ban Possible with Coming Snow
Police state parking ban for city streets is a possibility.

PEABODY, MA - With accumulation totals inching up in recent forecasts, Peabody police are letting residents know that an emergency parking ban looks like it will be put in place.
The ban will most likely be effective at 3 a.m. on Friday. Police are asking residents to make arrangements for alternative parking off street in the event that this happens.
If the forecast remains the same, the Director of Public Services plans to advertise the ban around 8 p.m. on Thursday evening to give residents ample notice to remove vehicles. Downtown residents will be allowed to park vehicles in the Central and Wallis Street Municipal Parking Lots and can remain there until two hours after the parking ban is rescinded.
