Peabody Institute Library, Main Branch will be hosting our end of summer celebration at Emerson Park, Perkins Street in Peabody. A free picnic lunch for kids and teens (18 and under) will be served from 11:30AM to 1PM and kites will be distributed for some flying fun in this beautiful park. Make sure to stay for our special guest at 1:00PM: Todd Brodeur, 2-Time Freestyle Frisbee World Champion. Todd will demonstrate basic tricks, catches and combinations while sharing his fascinating success story. We will then break out for some hands-on Frisbee fun as Todd teaches us some basic and more advanced tricks. No registration or ID necessary.
In the event of rain both programs will be held under the tent in the Library Courtyard at 82 Main Street in downtown Peabody.
Lunches are provided as part of the Summer Food Service Program, sponsored by the Haven from Hunger, Project Bread and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
