Otha Day: DRUM TO THE BEAT! Drum Circle

The Peabody Institute Library, located at 82 Main Street in downtown Peabody is excited to have Otha Day once again join us for his very popular program. Otha's Drum Circle is a highly interactive program where you will play drums and percussion instruments together to create in-the-moment music. Through the experience of rhythm and sound you will experience what it means to beat as one heart: we become a vibrant community. With playful and accessible rhythm activities, games, traditional ensemble pieces, songs and most importantly improvisation, DRUM TO THE BEAT! Drum Circle with Otha Day is an experience you won't want to miss!

This program is suitable for children ages 6+ and for younger children attended by an adult. Registration is not required, but come early to ensure a seat and a drum!

This program is generously funded by The Friends of the Peabody Institute Libraries
