Power of Pink Mother's Day Walk

Second Annual Power of Pink, a Mother's Day walk, to raise funds to support fight against breast cancer. The walk is sponsored by the “Flip Flop Friends” Gina Braz-Rocha, Terri Eagar-Garofano, Cathy Gravel, Jeannie Hallinan and Karen Eagar-Braz, who will walk 60 miles over three days in July in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day.

• When: May 13, 2012
• Where: Kiley School, Johnson St.; Independence Greenway Bike Path(6 miles)
• Time: Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., walk begins at 9 a.m.
• Cost: $10 donation per walker, $25 donation per family
• Make checks payable to "Flip Flop Friends."
