Fenwick Softball Dries Up Crimson Tide
The Lady Crusaders scored in every inning but the third to build a 6-3 lead over Everett, going into the seventh inning and holding it there for the remainder of play.
The softball club advances to the quarterfinal round of the North Division I tournament after taking down the Crimson Tide from Everett on Thursday, 6-3.
The Lady Crusaders, seeded 6th in the tournament, won a bye into the first round where they defeated Everett. The location and opponent for the next round are yet to be determined. Fenwick will play the winner of Saturday’s Malden vs. Lexington game. Malden is seeded 3rd while Lexington is No. 14.
