Fenwick Swimmers Breeze by St. Mary's

The swim team dominated the competition at St. Mary's of Lynn this week, 95-74.

The Crusaders improved to 1-2 and next take on Archbishop Williams Jan. 20 at Blue Hills Regional High School in Canton.

Coach Cara Linehan reports that first place individual finishes were had by Carson Christuk in the 50 free (25.07) and 500 free (5:53.53), Bridgette Townsend in the 200 free (2:17.69) and 100 fly (1:22.04), Linsey Andrews in the 200 individual medley (2:44.82) and 100 backstroke (1:11.44) and Jimmy Gauthier in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.53).

In the 200 medley relay, the team of Andrew, Gauthier, Christuk and Ken Pedone won in 2:01.66, while the 200 free relay team of Pedone, Brandon McCauley, Gauthier and Christuk won in 1:49.62. Steven LaRochelle, McCauley, Andrew and Townsend won the 400 free relay in 4:35.74.
