Bishop Fenwick Crusaders took on St. Mary’s Spartans this Sunday at the Lynn YMCA.
Fenwick won the meet 89-67, improving their record to 2-1.
Fenwick placed first in all three relays
- 200 Medley Relay, 2:05.37 Capt. Steve LaRochelle, Pablo Jimenez, Carson Christuk and Ben Kaupp
- 200 Freestyle Relay, 1:59.03, Jimenez, Kaupp, Justine Armand and Connor Christuk
- 400 Freestyle Relay, 4:18.41, Capt. LaRochelle, Garrett Collins, Connor Christuk and Carson Christuk
Fenwick also won 7 of the 8 individual events
- Connor Christuk a double winner in the 200 freestyle (1:57.69) and the 100 Butterfly (1:06.66)
- Carson Christuk a double winner in the 100 freestyle (51.22) and the 100 backstroke (58.25) Both swims were fast enough to qualify for the division 2 state meet.
- Capt. Lindsey Andrews won the 200 Individual Medley (2:32.59) and 500 Freestyle (6:17.88)
- Jimenez took the 100 breaststroke with the season best of 1:21.09
Fenwick’s second place 400 Freestyle Relay team of Virginia Ambeliotis, Capt. Bridgette Townsend, Nicole DiMeglio and Capt. Andrews qualified for the North Sectional State Meet with a time of 4:28.04.
Fenwick will travel to Randolph on Friday Jan 17th to take on Archbishop Williams.
