Fenwick Volleyball Shut Out by Melrose in D2 North Final

Saturday played out nearly a repeat of last year's volleyball tournament battle between and Melrose. Once again, the Crusaders found themselves on the losing end of the Red Raiders' powerful attack.

Fenwick lost three straight sets in the Division II North Final match-up at Lawrence High: 25-18, 25-16 and 25-18, as Melrose went on to clinch its third straight Sectional title.

Fenwick came off a solid regular season at 13-7 with another Central Catholic League crown and defeated Winchester, Boston English and Stoneham before facing Melrose on Saturday.
