Final Summer Concert Rescheduled
British rock cover band Britannica will take to the Leather City Common on Sept. 27.

The final summer concert of the 2015 Summer Concert Series has been rescheduled for Sunday, Sept. 27 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Leather City Common on Lowell Street.
The featured act is the British rock cover band Britannica.
Originally scheduled for September 13th, Mayor Ted Bettencourt decided to reschedule Britannica in recognition of September 13th being the eve of the Jewish High Holiday Rosh Hashanah.

“The Peabody summer concerts are events for the entire community to enjoy,” Bettencourt said. “Out of respect to our many friends and fellow residents of Jewish faith, we rescheduled the Britannica performance for September 27th.”
Those attending the September 27 show will not only be treated to classic Bristish rock from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s but also a cool end-of-summer treat courtesy of Tom Gould’s Treadwell’s Ice Cream. The winner of the 50/50 raffle will also be drawn during intermission.
