Finance Director Honored During Last Day at City Hall

Mayor Ted Bettencourt and a host of city officials and co-workers congratulated Finance Director Patti Schaffer on her retirement during her last day at City Hall on Friday.
“Serving three mayors over 30 years, we gratefully acknowledge the many outstanding contributions Patti has made to our city,” Bettencourt said. “Patti, please accept our sincere gratitude and best wishes for many years of continued health, happiness and prosperity. Your leadership and friendship will be greatly missed.”

Schaffer served with former mayors Peter Torigian and Michael Bonfanti as well as Bettencourt.
City Auditor Michael Gingras will be taking over as the city’s next finance director.
