Former Peabody Mayor Michael Bonfanti Honored With City Hall Portrait

PEABODY, MA – Former mayor Michael Bonfanti was presented with his very own portrait at City Hall last month.

Mayor Edward Bettencourt, Jr., elected officials, city employees and members of the Peabody community were on hand for the unveiling.

"Mayor Mike" served Peabody for five terms from 2001 to 2011, when he was succeeded by Bettencourt. Last year, Bonfanti was honored with a nature trail at Sydney's Pond for his years of service, Peabody roots and love of the outdoors.
