The Peabody Institute Library’s South Branch is thrilled to welcome Dr. Uma Naidoo for a cooking demonstration on July 10th at 7PM at the South Branch, located at 78 Lynn St., in Peabody.
Are you looking for creative ways to use your garden veggies or CSA farm share? Dr. Uma Naidoo will be teaching us how to cook delicious, healthy recipes from fresh ingredients. Her love of fusion cooking and passion for eating foods that can positively affect that way we think and feel promises an exciting, holistic experience appealing to all tastes.
Dr. Uma Naidoo is both an award-winning, Harvard-trained psychiatrist and an award-winning professional chef who graduated from the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. She is one of a handful of people in the world who understands the human brain and psychology together with a nuanced idea of what we eat. Her passion for eating delicious foods while paying attention to healthy guidelines informs her innovative recipe ideas.
