5 Peabody Runners Finish Marathon Before Bombing Stops Race
Among the 18 Peabody runners scheduled to compete in the Boston Marathon, five finished the race before the bombing cancelled the run.
It started as any other Marathon Monday, but ended with tragedy as two explosions were set off near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.
Below is a list of all 18 registered runners from Peabody, according to the Boston Athletic Association web site. Five Peabodyites finished the course before the race was cancelled.
