Healthy Kids Day is Coming to the YMCA of Metro North April 18th
A free community event packed with fun, hands-on activities that inspire kids and families to build healthy habits together.

The YMCA of Metro North invites families across the region to celebrate Healthy Kids Day®, the Y’s national initiative dedicated to improving the health and well-being of kids and families. This free, community-wide event will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, offering fun-filled activities designed to inspire healthy habits and active lifestyles just in time for summer.
Healthy Kids Day will feature a wide range of engaging, family-friendly activities, including bounce houses, youth sports samplers, interactive games, arts and crafts, and hands-on fitness experiences for all ages. Families will also have the opportunity to explore summer camp programs, swim lessons, and youth enrichment offerings that keep kids active, learning, and connected all summer long.
“Healthy Kids Day is all about engaging families in healthy activities at the Y,” said Cara Green, Executive Director of the Torigian Family YMCA in Peabody. “It’s a chance for kids to try something new and have fun, and for families to see how the Y supports them every day with programs that help their children grow and thrive.”
