How Much Snow Did the Peabody Area Get?

Snow totals from the National Weather Service were slightly higher than some forecasts.

PEABODY, MA - Although the North Shore did not get hit as hard as areas to the south, people did wake up this morning with a little more snow than they might have been expecting.

According to the National Weather Service, nearby Lynn got 4 inches of snow, while Topsfield got three inches. Closer to the coast, Gloucester saw seven inches of snow.

Earlier forecasts predicted anywhere from one to four inches for the Peabody area.

However, with temperatures expected to hit the mid-40s by the middle of the week, that extra snow should quickly melt.
