Try as they might, no one was able to guess what currently occupies the site where the former C.W. Brine Carriage Factory once stood. The answer is the soon to be open Peabody Market at 36 Foster St.

Like the former carriage factory, the Peabody Market continues to use this site for business. But the area located at the corner of 36 Foster St. and Spring Street doesn't resemble what it once looked like when the carriage factory operated there from the 1820s through the 1920s.

While no one won the $5 Dunkin Donuts gift card this week, Peabody Patch and the and Peabody Leatherworkers Museum will give readers another chance to test their knowledge about the city's history this Saturday.
