Howley Street Bridge Will Be Closed to Traffic Beginning July 6
The MassDOT has notified city officials that construction of a new Howley Street Bridge will begin on June 1.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has notified city officials that construction of a new Howley Street Bridge will begin on June 1 when state work crews begin mobilizing in the area.
The bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning July 6, 2015 through early October 2015.
Howley Street businesses will remain open however with alternate access points marked by DOT-operated electronic road signs.
