The Tanners boys ice hockey team were hoping for a much better result when they played the Beverly High Panthers on Saturday night at home.

Instead, the Tanners were shut-out, 4-0, and are now 0-2-1 in their last few games since starting goaltender Derek Savage was suspended for three games. Savage is expected to return to the net on Wednesday when Peabody takes on Danvers High.

With the win, Beverly High and Peabody High are now knotted at 19 points each. Beverly has three games left this season and Peabody only has one game remaining.
