The Peabody Tanners boys baseball team hoped to get a win against Beverly High School on Friday afternoon at home, but came up short.
The Tanners fell to Beverly, 5-3, even though Tanners player Bobby Losano struck a two-run home run during the game. The Tanners baseball team will now have to wait until Wednesday morning before they can shoot for a win when they go on the road to play the Salem High Witches at 10 a.m.
