Keeping it Local

Although headquartered in Lynn, MA, Community Credit Union operates a Branch Office and a Mortgage Center on Central Street in Peabody.  It was this location that hosted an After Hours event for members of the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce on May 22nd.

Always one to differentiate themselves from other lending institutions, CCU pulled out all the stops from having the event catered by PACC member, Su-Chang's Restaurant, to door prizes for gift certificates and Red Sox tickets.

Saving the best for last, President Dr. Nick Sarantopoulos reminded the group of business leaders the importance of supporting the non-profit organizations in our community.  As a further gesture of CCU's commitment, a $250 donation to the charity of your choice was offered as a door prize.  Michael Tarby, of PIP Printing & Marketing Services, was the winner and chose to donate the money on the spot to PACC member, Bridgewell, which provides residential services, employment services, and clinical services to individuals with disabilities.
