Lynn Man Arrested Following Peabody Vandalism Spree
Anthony J. Betancourt, 32, is accused of smashing windows at two Main Street barber shops.

PEABODY, MA -- A Lynn man is facing more than 20 charges after being arrested by Peabody Police Wednesday night. Police say Anthony J. Betancourt, 32, smashed windows at two Main Street barber shops and destroyed a sign on Sutton Street.
According to the Daily Item, which first reported this story, police chased Betancourt to the Lowell Crossing Enterprise Group Home on Lowell Street after responding to the call at 11:24 pm. Charges included operating under the influence of alcohol and drugs, speeding, assault with a dangerous weapon, vandalism, and resisting arrest.
