Monday Last Day to View Assessed Valuations at City Hall
Tax bill payments will be due by Feb. 1 of next year.

Monday, Nov. 16, is the last day that assessed valuations for Fiscal Year 2016 will be available for preview at the Assessors Office at City Hall. However, the information is available online at the city’s website.
These values have been preliminarily certified by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. The new valuations are the result of a recently completed revaluation. The average residential property has increased in value by 7%.
Commercial & industrial property has remained relatively stable, according to city officials. Property owners should be aware that the new valuations reflect market value as of January 1, 2015. The preliminary values can be viewed at the Assessor’s Office in City Hall on Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
