New Peabody Scholarship Honors Late Community Leader
The annual scholarship will award $5,000 each to two graduating seniors from Peabody Veterans Memorial High pursuing business careers.
PEABODY, MA — The Peabody Education Foundation established the Maureen "Moe" (L’Italien) Brodeur Memorial Scholarship in honor of the late community service leader.
This new annual scholarship was made possible through a significant gift from Benoit "Ben" Brodeur, her husband. The scholarship honors the legacy of Brodeur, who served as an office manager at Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home.
She was known for her lifelong commitment to excellence and service within the community. The scholarship aims to continue her impact by supporting future generations.

"Moe's spirit of dedication and leadership touched many lives in Peabody," David Gravel, President of the Peabody Education Foundation, said.
He said that, through the scholarship, Maureen Brodeur's commitment to the community will continue to inspire and support future business leaders.
The establishment of this scholarship provides an opportunity for PVMHS students to receive financial support for their higher education. It also ensures that Maureen Brodeur's contributions to Peabody are remembered and continue to foster local talent, the Peabody Education Foundation said.
