Next Up In Peabody Concert Series: Tangerine
Peabody's Essex County Brewery will also be on hand, serving food and beer.
City of Peabody: Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt, Jr., is pleased to announce the continuation of the City of Peabody’s Annual Summer Concert Series at Leather City Common. The third concert will take place on Sunday, July 28, 2019, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and will feature “TANGERINE” in their first appearance at the Summer Concert Series.
“TANGERINE” features songs from the 70’s by Rock’s greatest bands, well known FM staples mixed with deep cuts, played just like the original versions. Band members include Lou Spagnola, Bass and Business; Tony Maggio, Guitar; Bill Plourde, Guitar and Vocals; Paul Soares, Drums & Vocals; and John Wadkins, Keyboard & Vocals. Peabody’s Essex County Brewery will be on hand this week serving up their delicious craft beer and food will be served by “Santoro’s of Peabody” a favorite of concert goers. Peabody Main Streets will once again feature a mini-market with several different vendors, including Newhall Fields Community Farm, Green Peabody, The Sweet Treat Truck, Shine Jewelry, Newman’s Bakery, Kiwanis Club of Peabody, Candles & More, and Lost Art Crochet. The Leather City Common is located at 53 Lowell Street across from the Ancient order of Hibernians (AOH) Hall. Ample parking is available on Railroad Avenue or in the parking lot behind the AOH. The concert is free and open to the public.
50/50 raffle tickets will be sold throughout the evening and the winner will be drawn on Sunday, August 25 th during intermission. The summer concert series is sponsored by the City
