North Shore Alzheimer's Partnership Hosting Research Update

The presentation on May 2 is free and open to the public, but reservations are required.

From the Alzheimer's Association: The North Shore Alzheimer's Partnership, in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter will offer a free presentation on Wednesday, May 2 beginning at 5:30 p.m., at the Peabody Council on Aging, 79 Central Street.

The presentation, The Science of Hope: Progress Towards a World Without Alzheimer's Disease, will provide an update on Alzheimer's and dementia research. A better understanding of underlying brain changes has enabled the development of better detection methods for Alzheimer's and other dementias—learn how this knowledge is being translated into novel therapies and prevention strategies, as well as steps to take that may reduce the risk of cognitive decline.
