North Shore Career Fair Coming To Peabody City Hall

The city will host the North Shore Career Center on Aug. 17.

PEABODY, MA — Peabody City Hall will be the site of a career fair open to all North Shore residents next week.

The city will host North Shore Career Services on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help attendees with career coaching, job searches, training and business referrals.

The career fair will include one-on-one meetings with walk-ins welcome.

There will be assistance in career coaching with training opportunities to help residents get a job or move into a new job or industry with more opportunities and better pay.

There will be job search assistance, including one-on-one resume reviews and searches for good openings across the North Shore.

A specific youth career services session will be open to those ages 16 to 24 looking for work or help to move from part-time to full-time.

There will also be a dedicated veterans employment representative to help veterans learn of training opportunities available specifically to them for their service.

A business engagement representative will also be there to help attendees connect with area businesses and referrals for state resources.

Peabody City Hall is located at 24 Lowell Street.
