North Shore Free Business Expo Coming To Marriott Peabody

The March 23 expo will include seminars, job hiring, and a chance for businesses, employees and vendors to meet and network.

PEABODY, MA — North Shore business owners, representatives and job seekers are invited to the Boston Marriott Peabody on March 23 for the North Shore Chamber of Commerce's 2023 Business Expo.

The event, which will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., will include several free seminars and provide an opportunity for vendors and clients to meet and network. The Chamber expects hundreds of business products and features to be available for test use and information.

Seminar topics will include networking, how to find a potential intern, promoting your brand on LinkedIn, and using business strategies to grow your business. Seating is limited so advance registration is required.

Individuals seeking employment, or a change in employment, are invited to bring resumes and business cards with many of the participating businesses advertising jobs available. There will also be giveaways, raffles and other promotions.

Admission to the Expo floor is free.

There will also be a Business Insight Breakfast from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and an Expo Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Vice President of Eastern Bank Wealth Management Allen Laine is the breakfast keynote speaker and is set to give an economic update on the region, and talk about interest rates, supply chain disruptions and gas and oil prices.

President of Salem Five Wealth Management and Trust Sean Tesoro is the luncheon speaker and will address the new "Millionaire's Tax" and how that will affect selling businesses and those who deal in high-end real estate.

Reservations for breakfast and lunch are required.
