Updated: Northshore Mall Being Evacuated Because of Gas leak
Authorities ask people to stay away from the mall until the problem is fixed.
Reports of Northshore Mall, 210 Andover St., was evacuated just before 2 on Monday afternoon because of a potential gas leak, according to a mall spokeswoman. The gas leak was coming from Macy’s.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Peabody Police are asking people to stay away from the mall until the problem is fixed.
