Ann P. (Walsh) Daley, 80, beloved wife of John Daley, Sr., died peacefully at her home on Sunday November 23, 2014 while in the comforting presence of her family.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Cotter) Walsh. She grew up there where she attended schools, and graduated from St. John’s High School in Peabody.

Mrs. Daley worked with the P.J. Woods Insurance Agency for a career spanning 30 years before retiring.
Ann had a passion for dedication and nurturing her family. She enjoyed knitting, loved shopping, was active as a Mall Walker at North Shore Mall, was a member of the A.O.H. Ladies Auxilliary of Peabody, and was an active parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Beverly.

She is survived by her husband John Daley, Sr. of Beverly, with whom she shared nearly 60 years of marriage; three sons and a daughter, John Daley, Jr. & his wife Unhui of Beverly, Judy Klemczuk & her husband William of Peabody, James Daley & his wife Wendy of Beverly, and Jeffrey Daley & his wife Michelle of Beverly; 15 grandchildren, Jennifer & Brian Akeley of Beverly, Jason Daley of Beverly, James & Shawna Daley of Chandler, AZ, Scott & Victoria Damon of Peabody, Jared Daley of Somerville, Jeremy Daley & Jennifer Mistretta of Beverly, William Klemczuk and Erin Klemczuk both of Peabody, Sarah Daley of Beverly, Jeffrey, Joshua and Courtney Daley with Christopher, Adam and Tyler Hutchings all of Beverly; seven great-grandchildren, Nora and Eila Daley of AZ, Olivia and Abigail Akeley of Beverly, Anthony and Jake Damon of Peabody, and Jameson Daley of Beverly; three sisters Mary McGrath of Beverly, Judy Walsh of Peabody, and Joyce Eastman of East Bridgewater; a sister-in-law M. Louise Riley of Beverly, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her parents, by a sister Marilyn Cassidy.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Wednesday November 26, 2014 at 10 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 8 P.M. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Memorial donations may be made to the U.S.O., online at www.uso.org or USO, P.O.
