Peabody - Barry L. Acquaviva, 62, died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday March 15, 2015 at the Beverly Hospital, following a brief illness.
Born in Malden, he was the son of Emma (Colangelo) Acquaviva of Peabody and the late Chester Acquaviva. He grew up in Malden and graduated from Malden High School.

Mr. Acquaviva was a Security Consultant with Bradley’s Department Stores until a disability prevented him from working.
He enjoyed photography and music, and was an avid Beatle’s fan. He relished his time spent with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his mother Emma (Colangelo) Acquaviva of Peabody; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jay & his wife Elizabeth Acquaviva of Carlisle and Glen & his wife Paula Acquaviva of Peabody; two nieces and two nephews Jared & Rachel Acquaviva of Carlisle and Jonathan & Lauren Acquaviva of Peabody.
A Private Visitation will be held on Thursday March 19, 2015 from 11 - 2 PM with a Private Family Funeral Service at 1:30 P.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, Peabody, with urn placement in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody immediately following the Service. The family welcomes guests to gather at Glen & Paula’s home for a light reception following Graveside Committal at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
