Chrisanthe J. (Emanuel) Lembidakis, 82, beloved wife of George Lembidakis, died after a brief illness on Friday January 16, 2015 at the Beverly Hospital while in the comforting presence of her family.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late John and Minnie (Chrisos) Emanuel. She grew up in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Classical High School. She had worked as a Legal Secretary, yet her life’s purpose of nurturing her family was her highest passion, and spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest joy.

Chrisanthe was devoted and faithful in the Greek Orthodox community, with St. George in Lynn and St. Vasilios in Peabody. She enjoyed family gatherings and cooking, and was a member of a Bible Study Fellowship. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, George Lembidakis of Peabody, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage; three daughters Mary Ward of Houston, TX, Joanne Dooley of Beverly, and Susan Mentzer of Danvers; six grandchildren, Benjamin George Ward, Gregory M. Dooley, Adrienne Dooley, Joshua Mentzer, Tyler Mentzer and Adam Mentzer, and a loving sister Mary Carbone of Lynn.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for her Funeral Service on Wednesday January 21, 2015 at 10 AM in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Peabody. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:30 – 7:30 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
