Cynthia A. (Mekeadis) Ramos, 58, died Sunday March 8, 2015 at the North Shore Medical Center—Union Hospital in Lynn after an extended illness.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alexandria (Tsimourtas) Mekeadis. She grew up in Salem, and graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School in Peabody. She also studied at North Shore Community College.

Ms. Ramos was a medical secretary at Boston University Hospital in Boston and Salem Hospital for years, in the Oncology Department. She later worked in retail with Nordstrom’s and Macy’s Stores at the North Shore Mall in Peabody, and helped those with cancer for prosthetic clothing after a diagnosis of breast cancer.
Cynthia loved animals, enjoyed cooking, and was a longtime member at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody.

She is survived by a daughter Alexandra Ramos of Lynn & her father Marcos Ramos of Puerto Rico; and a brother George Mekeadis of Salem.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a visitation on Friday March 13, 2015 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Peabody. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
