Obituary: James G. Rennick Jr., Glazier and Carpenter in Local 1044 of Boston for 40 Years
Was an officer and member of the Peabody/Lynn Lodge of Elks, # 1409

James G. Rennick, Jr., 74, of Peabody died peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House after a prolonged illness. He was the devoted husband of Virginia F. (Vitale) Rennick with whom he shared 36 years of marriage.
Jim was born in Peabody in the home he now occupies on August 6, 1940, the son of the late James Gerald and Helen (Henry) Rennick and was a lifelong resident of Peabody.

He was a graduate of Peabody High School and had been a Glazier and Carpenter for Local 1044 of Boston for 40 years prior to his retirement.
Jim was an officer and member of the Peabody/Lynn Lodge of Elks, # 1409 and also enjoyed spending time at the former Yankee Club in Peabody. He loved to toil in his garden producing vegetables and flowers and also did woodworking around the neighborhood.

Surviving him besides his wife are two step-sons, Scott Grieves and his wife Joan Ferraro of Swampscott and Stephen and his wife Bernadette Grieves of Peabody, a brother, Jack Rennick of Florida, 4 step-grandchildren, Sheana, Corie, James and Justin Grieves, and his nephews Jason Rennick and Chris Perrault and a niece Jennifer Rennick. He was the brother of the late Hellie Perrault.
AVisitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. His funeral service will be held there on Wednesday, January 7, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923 in his memory.
