Lois Lee (Anderson) Hebert, 66, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in Salem Hospital. She was the loving wife of Daniel R. Hebert, with whom he shared 26 years of marriage.
Born in Brockton on December 6, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Anderson and Rebecca (Greenough) (Anderson) Peterson. Lois was raised and educated in Peabody. She had been employed as a teller for many years at the Align Credit Union in Danvers and then worked at Douglass Appliance, also in Danvers. Lois enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and Florida, but especially loved spending time with her family.

Besides her husband, Daniel, she is survived by her five children, John Burton and his wife Deborah of Groveland, Tammy Burton of Boston, Molly Detviler and her husband Michael of Newburyport, Melissa Hebert of Salem and Daniel Hebert of Maryland, eleven siblings, Bobbie Douglass, Janet Hidden, Jeanne Maxwell, Elsa Eckman, Karen Caproni, John, Fred and Danny Peterson, Rebecca King, Anna Igo and Suzanne Pinho, seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother David Peterson.
Lois’s family will receive friends and family on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 3-6PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. All other services are private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Lois’s name to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA, 01923.
