Maria Joanne (Patti) Pero, wife of the late Napoleon Pero passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Kaplan House.
Maria was born in Lawrence on September 29, 1926 to the late Anthony & Josephine (Mazza glia) Patti.
She attended Beverly schools graduating from Beverly High School with the class of 1946. Mary was a talented fashion designer having graduated from The Modern School (The School of Fashion Design in May of 1949. Among the many creations were finely detailed Christening outfits, bridal veils as well as beautiful infant/toddler outfits.
She was an ardent Boston Red Sox fan.

Mary also leaves her daughter Arlene of Beverly, Robert of Tewksbury, Paul and his finance’ Leandra Ellis of Salem New Hampshire; her granddaughters Joanna of Milford, Angela of Methuen and Victoria of Peabody; her great grandchildren Bailey Elizabeth, Tyler Daniel and Wyatt Anthony. Maria was the mother of the late Anthony J. Pero and mother in law of the late Ellen Pero. Mary leaves her sister Carol McLaughlin and her husband Tom, her brother Anthony Patti and his wife Susan. She leaves her faithful companions, King Louie Napoleon, Queen Gracie Marie, Jake Joseph and Max Joseph; the beloved Cocker Spaniels.
The family would like to thank the staff of Care Dimensions particularly Angela Swift, Caroline Coolen and the staff at Kaplan House for the wonderful dedicated care given to our mother in her last days.
