Obituary: Robert "Bob' Caton, 56, Owner of 4 Seasons Painting Company For Over 20 Years

Robert “Bob’ Caton, 56, of Peabody, died early Sunday morning at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Patty (Buttner) Caton with whom he shared over 26 years of marriage.
Born in Medford, he was the son of the late Richard and Josephine (Foti) Caton. He was raised in Somerville and upon marrying his wife Patty, moved to Peabody where he has lived for the past 26 years.

Bob was the owner/operator of 4 Seasons Painting Company for over 20 years. He also was a classic car enthusiast.
Besides his devoted wife, he is survived by his two loving children, Jonathan and Jenna Caton, both of Peabody, his brother, Michael Caton of Somerville, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carol and Fred Transue, Teddy and Heather Buttner, Paul and Anne Buttner, and John and Robin Buttner, and is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM and burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
