Robert W Serpa, 61, of Danvers and formerly of Malden and Peabody, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday October 31, 2014. He was the husband of the late Sheryl (Elfman) Serpa.
Born in Salem, he was the son of the late William and Lucy (Semas) Serpa. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1971. He continued his education at Andover Institute and North Shore Community College.

Robert was the owner/operator of Serpa & Serpa Landscape Gardeners in Danvers for many years. He was a professional Arm Wrestler, loved riding his Harley and enjoyed going to the gym on daily basis. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins
He is survived by his son Matthew Serpa of Dallas, TX and his daughter, Robyn Serpa of Beverly, his three brothers, David Serpa of Peabody, Thomas Murphy of The Villages, FL, and Martin Murphy of Amesbury, and he is also survived by his grandson, Brody Robert Sabino.

His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 12:30 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn ST., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to www.liverfoundation.org
