Obituary: Ronald Joseph Therrien, 57, Longtime Resident of Peabody

Enjoyed spending time with his family and was so proud of his five grandchildren.

Ronald Joseph Therrien, 57, a very much loved father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 and is now at peace.

Ronald was born in Danvers, on August 6, 1957, was raised in Peabody, graduated from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School in 1975, and was a lifelong resident of the city.

Ron was a loving father who enjoyed spending time with his family and was so proud of his 5 grandchildren. As hobbies, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, photography, fishing and going to yard sales.

Ron is survived by his children and their spouses, Daniel and Shannah Therrien of Rock Hill, SC, and Beth and Jon Arnett of York, SC; 5 grandchildren, Christian, Jacob, Ella, Kaleb and Ryland; his mother and her husband, Judith H. (Sovulis) Isom and John T. Isom of Peabody; his father and his wife, Alfred J. Therrien and Natalie A. Maga of Peabody; his sisters, spouses and their children, Tammy and Robert Hamilton, Emily and Lindsey all of Tewksbury, Tracy Brown, Cameron and Taylor all of Peabody, and Heather and Andre Palomo, Danielle and Kyle all of Tewksbury, and Amanda of SC. Ron was also predeceased by a brother Robert D. Therrien and a niece Ashley.

Ron’s Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 7 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, and Ron’s family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the beginning of the service at 7 p.m. The family requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Ron’s memory to the Epilepsy Foundation of NE, www.epilepsynewengland.org , 540 Gallivan Blvd., Boston, MA 02124.
