Scott M. Patten, died Sept. 12. Manager in the plastics industry for over 25 years

Scott M. Patten, 50, of Peabody, beloved husband of Amelia (Cunha) Patten, died September 12, 2014, suddenly at his home.
Born in Salem, he was the son of Joan (Twardowski) Patten of Salem and the late Frederick Patten. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School.

Mr. Patten had been employed as a Manager in the Plastics Industry for over 25 years having worked for the McCue Corporation.
A resident of the City of Peabody for more than 25 years, Scott had a high intellect and enjoyed computers and was always ready to help his friends no matter what the need. He was well known for his fine sense of humor and he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his loving wife Amelia with whom he shared 30 years of marriage and his mother Joan, Scott is survived by his step-daughter, Susan Azevedo of Salem, his three step-grandsons, Curtis, Ryan and Cameron, his sister, Katherine Riley and his brother-in-law, William Riley of Beverly, his nieces and nephews, Olivia, Cameron, Sophie and Aoife all of Beverly
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held in The O’Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem, on Thursday, September 18th at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours prior to the service from 9 to 11 A.M.. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
