She was a lifelong resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody High School.

Virginia J. (Dupuis) Quirk, 67, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Sunday morning at her Home. She was the former wife of the late John Quirk.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late George and Josephine (Spinale) Dupuis. She was a lifelong resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody High School.

Virginia was employed as a CNA at Rosewood Nursing Home in Peabody and at the former Farnsworth Nursing Home as well. She also had worked as a dietary aid at the Hunt Nursing Home in Danvers. She finally retired in 2012.
Virginia was a member of the VFW post 1011, Women’s Auxiliary club in Peabody. She enjoyed her retirement days with her family and friends at Tanneries.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Norton Hazel of Peabody, her companion Jimmy, her brothers, Jean Dupuis of Maine and Guy Dupuis and his wife Leeann of Danvers, her sister, Juanita and her husband Andre Benoit of Plainville, CT, by her two cherished grandchildren, Zachary and Brad Hazel, and also by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody and her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial services will be private.
