Obituary: William P. Wilson, III, 26, of Peabody

William P. Wilson, III, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Sunday November 30 in New Hampshire.

Born in Lynn, he was the son of Robin (Linatopi) and her husband Steven Gioia of Peabody and was the son of the late William P. Wilson, Jr.

William was a lifelong resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, class of 2006, and had played on the high school hockey team. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially during the winter months snow boarding, snowmobiling, and skiing. He also enjoyed playing football and baseball as well.

Besides his loving mother and father, he is survived by his brother Joseph Gioia of Peabody, his grandmothers, Joan Linatopi of Salem and Gloria Gioia of Peabody, and is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dog Rocco.

A private Memorial Service will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, Church, Street, Peabody.
