Opera Returns to Peabody City Hall
Metrowest Opera and the Peabody Cultural Council present Mark Adamo's Little Women.

Peabody, MA - The Frank L. Wiggin Auditorium at Peabody City Hall will be a little more cultured than usual in March.
MetroWest Opera and the Peabody Cultural Collaborative recently announced the 2016 season production of Mark Adamo’s Little Women. This contemporary opera, based on the iconic American novel, will be performed with a full orchestra at the Frank L. Wiggin Auditorium of Peabody City Hall on Friday, March 11 at 8 p.m.
When Little Women premiered at the Houston Grand Opera in 1998, General Director David Glockey stated that the new opera “was destined to be an American classic.” The opera was also presented in 2003 at New York City Opera where NY Times critic John Rockwell proclaimed “Mark Adamo’s Little Women is some sort of masterpiece.”
