Overnight Shelter for Residents Open at Lynn Classical

City officials are directing any residents who are in need of shelter tonight to head to Lynn Classical High School.

A regional shelter has been set up at the school, which is located at 235 O'Callaghan Way in Lynn. The phone number there is 781-477-7404.

Residents who need transportation to the shelter can call the Peabody Fire Department business line at 978-531-3444.

The shelter is pet friendly.

Residents who lose power and just need a place to charge cell phones, laptops or other devices can make arrangements for charging at the West Branch Library by calling 978-531-0100 ext. 16.
