Peabody 100 Cards Available

Many local businesses are offering discounts to their customers to help support the city's centennial celebration.

PEABODY, MA - Many local businesses are offering discounts to their customers to help support the city’s centennial celebration in 2016.

Peabody 100 cards are now available for purchase at www.peabody100.com. The cards entitle bearers to discounts at participating restaurants and other businesses. Proceeds from Peabody 100 card sales will help fund the city’s 100th birthday celebration.

“The City of Peabody turns 100 years old in 2016 and we will celebrate the occasion with a Family Festival at Brooksby Farm, a Stars and Stripes Concert, a Grand Parade, and a Centennial Grand Ball, among other outstanding events,” said Mayor Ted Bettencourt. “Peabody100 cards allow residents and business owners to support the city and help make these events memorable for everyone.”

Residents should be on the lookout for Peabody 100 decal stickers displayed on windows and doors of participating businesses. The decal signifies that the business supports Peabody and features discounts available to Peabody 100 cardholders.
