Peabody: Assault and Battery With a Dangerous Weapon, Child Struck by a Car

Monday, Oct. 13
At 3:28 p.m., police received a report of suspicious activity on Lynnfield Street. Caller reported that a suspicious vehicle in a red truck pulled into his driveway and took his trash. Police arrested the operator of the vehicle.
At 5:17 p.m., police investigated a larceny at Tannery Apartments. A catalytic converter was stolen from a parked vehicle.

At 5:58 p.m., police investigated an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in the area of Holten and Sewall streets. Police received an initial report that a teen came from the park and started a problem with a woman’s grandchild. Man had a knife and headed to Holten Street. Reports of a vehicle driving toward the square that struck a child. Salem Police and Atlantic Ambulance enroute. Child transported to Childrens Hospital. Police detained a man on foot at 31 Calumet St. Robert Ariel Delossantos, 18, of Peabody was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.
At 6:55 p.m., police investigated reports on Crane Brook Way of a stolen motor vehicle.

Party reported that his girlfriend stole his car. Victim stated the suspect contacted his mother and said that she was going to leave the car abandoned. Nicole Bagnera, 31, of Revere, will be summonsed by for larceny of a motor vehicle.
At 7:39 p.m., police assisted a citizen at a Community Outreach Center on Andover Street. Woman reported a lost cell phone. Last cell phone ping was at Dudley Street.
At 8:59 p.m., police investigated a motor vehicle accident on Summit and Forest streets. Officer reported that the accident victim tried getting information from the other driver who did not want to leave info and left the area. The other motor vehicle was a female, who went to an area hospital to be checked out due to not feeling well after the accident.
At 9:12 p.m., police received reports of a fight in progress at Pierpont Park. Officers dispersed the small gathering.
At 10:53 p.m., police received a report of vandalism at North Shore Taxi on Walnut Street. Two tires were deflated, and clothes were thrown out of the vehicle.
At 11:25 p.m., Essex Regional reported a fight in progress at Paddy Kelley’s on Washington Street. Officer reported that more than 20 people were involved. Kelly Gonyer, 25, of Peabody was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Tuesday, Oct. 14
At 5:47 a.m., reports of vandalism on Lynn Street. Truck was egged, possibly by an ex-girlfriend.
At 7:56 a.m., police investigated a larceny of prescription drugs from a resident on Lowell Street. Victim stated he woke up and all his prescription bottles were stolen. He went to get coffee and cake before calling police. The only people in the apartment where man’s mother and two sisters.
At 11:02 a.m., reports of a strong odor of electrical burning inside the Bank of America building on Andover Street. Call referred to the Fire Department.
At 12:44 p.m., police investigated a minor motor vehicle accident on Sherman Street. No injuries.
