Peabody Chamber Offering 2 $3.5K Scholarships To High School Seniors
Funding for the scholarship comes from donations and money raised at the Torigian Golf Classic.
PEABODY, MA — Exceptional Peabody high school seniors planning to study for careers in business, medical or STEAM-related (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) fields are eligible for this year's Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce scholarships.
Two scholarships of $3,500 each will be awarded to students who have demonstrated commitment and passion beyond the classroom, showcasing achievements or experiences in the workplace, entrepreneurial activities, DECA projects, or community involvement related to their chosen course of study.
Eligible students are residents of Peabody as well as children of Chamber members and students employed at a Chamber member business.

Applications can be found here and must be submitted by April 5.
Successful candidates will be required to participate in a short interview with the selection committee to provide an opportunity to demonstrate skills and talents not covered by a transcript or essay.

Funds raised for the scholarship program are made possible through the support of local businesses that actively participate in or sponsor the annual Torigian Golf Classic.
This year's Torigian Golf Classic is set to take place on June 10 at The Meadow in Peabody.
